We are proud to be in our second year of the IMS Gay/Straight Alliance (GSA Club). GSA Clubs unite LGBTQ+ students and allies to build community and learn about issues impacting them in their school and community. Research shows that the presence of a GSA Club has a positive and lasting effect on student health, wellness, and academic performance.

October 11 is National Coming Out Day and the GSA Club wore PRIDE colors and passed out Tootsie Pops and LGBTQ stickers at break. We will continue to host events and bring awareness to issues in our school and local community.
